Another year in business means another commemorative beer from Prairie Artisan Ales.

This time, the Tulsa, Okla.-based brewery will be releasing 4th Anniversary, a 7.5 percent ABV ale fermented with wild yeast and blueberries. A label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) indicates that the new beer will be brewed and bottled at Krebs Brewing Co. in Krebs, Okla.

This will be the third anniversary beer that Prairie has brewed, after 2nd Anniversary (7 percent ABV), which consisted of Prairie Ale aged in chardonnay wine barrels was released in 2013 and 3rd Anniversary Ale, an 8 percent ABV farmhouse ale brewed with raspberries was released in Sept. 2015. Prairie officially opened its doors in October 2012.

According to Wesley Morrison, brand ambassador for Prairie, 4th Anniversary will be packaged in 500ml bottles and is scheduled to be released in September. In addition, while the beer label attached to this story is the label that was approved by TTB, Prairie frequently changes the final designs of labels before the beers are released to market.
