The releases continue for Jester King Brewery.
The Austin, Texas-based brewery has announced it will be releasing its newest batch of Das Wunderkind!, a 5 percent ABV “blended saison” that is brewed with 2-row, wheat and amber malts, flaked oats as well as golding, sorcachi ace, nelson sauvin and falconer’s flight hops. The bière de coupage is a blend of fresh dry hopped farmhouse ale mixed with older, sour beer that has been aged in oak barrels.
Originally released in early 2011, this will be the 18th batch of Das Wunderkind! that has been brewed, with the most recent batch released in August 2014.
According to Jester King, the newest batch of Das Wunderkind! will be packaged in 750ml bottles ($12) and will be available for sale at the brewery starting on June 26.
