The newest addition to Bottle Logic Brewing’s lineup is a barrel-aged version of a creation that was first released last year.
That beer is Gem Condition 2020, a 14.27 percent ABV imperial stout brewed with lactose before being aged in “a blend of top-shelf bourbon barrels” and conditioned on Ecuadorian cacao nibs and mint.
As the name alludes to, the base beer is the Anaheim, Calif.-based brewery’s Mint Condition, a 12 percent ABV imperial stout brewed with cacao nibs, lactose and mint that debuted last year packaged in 16-ounce cans.
According to Bottle Logic, Gem Condition 2020 will be packaged in 500ml bottles ($24.95) and interested parties will have the chance to order tickets redeemable for bottles on Sept. 27 via Eventbrite with a purchase limit to be announced at a later date.
In addition, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Bottle Logic is allowing proxies for this release as long as the proxy’s name and information is added at the time the tickets for the beers are purchased.
