Mikkeller Texas Ranger

Mikkeller was founded in 2006 by a math teacher, Mikkel Borg Bjergsø and a journalist, Kristian Klarup Keller. Both were home brewers and when Mikkel got a job at a café that received imports like Chimay and Hoegarden it gave him a taste for beer that wasn’t readily available to him. Then one day when he drank an IPA from he quickly realized two things, he wanted to make beer like that and he could save a lot of money if he could.

Captain Lawrence Smoked Porter

The owner and head brewer, Scott Vaccaro’s story started sort of like every brewer’s story, but also sort of not at all. Vaccaro began brewing years before he could even legally drink at the age of 17, after being at a friends house and seeing his dad brew a batch of beer and wondering what sort of flavor combinations he could create. After some convincing he was able to talk his parents into getting him brewing equipment even though he again wasn’t able to drink legally.

Victory Deep Cocoa

Victory Brewing is a huge operation out of Downingtown, Penn. that was founded in 1996 by Ron Barchet and Bill Covaleski, who had been friends since 5th grade. Barchet left his full time job to pursue brewing by getting a job at the Baltimore Brewing Company then afterwards he then continued his education at Technische Universität München-Weihenstephan. Karbach Cherries of Fire

Karbach Brewing Company is a somewhat under-the-radar brewery hailing from Houston, Texas that has been around since 2011. As far as Texas breweries go, it comes in at the fifth largest in production which is composed of some year-round staples, seasonal releases and the single release "F.U.N." (Freaking Unbelievable Nectar) Series.

Ballast Point Victory At Sea

Victory At Sea Ballast Point has been around for a long time and is definitely one of the “big boys” in the brewing world. The brewery is well known for its fishing-themed beer lineup and probably most notably their Sculpin IPA. Ballast Point started like many a craft brewery, with two guys who loved beer and a dream.

Naughty Brewing Kentucky Streetwalker

Austin’s Naughty Brewing Co. is a pup in the beer world, only selling beers with its name on since 2013. The beers are currently made at Adelbert’s Brewery in Austin, Texas.

The pairing began when James Vaello, head brewer of Naughty Brewing, met Scott Hovey, Adelbert’s owner and head brew master, and the two began a friendship. Naughty Brewing was simply a dream, but it quickly came to life when Adelbert’s stepped in and allowed them to brew on their premises.
