“The name is a reference to the nickname given to Buried Hatchet at a Houston area Homebrew Supply shop,” said Dave Fougeron, president of Southern Star. “Apparently they could not put it down.”
This year Southern Star released around 780 cases of Black Crack which will be available in Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, and San Antonio.
For the first time, it will be available in 16-ounce cans as opposed to 16-ounce bottles.
