SAINT ARNOLD ADDING DOUBLE BARREL RUSSIAN IMPERIAL STOUT TO LINEUP

According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Saint Arnold Brewing Co.

is working on releasing Double Barrel Russian Imperial Stout, a 12.9 percent ABV Russian imperial stout aged in bonded bourbon barrels before being finished in wheated bourbon barrels. The new stout will be packaged in 500ml bottles.

The Houston-based brewery has released a similar beer named Double Barrel Imperial Stout, a 14.9 percent ABV imperial stout aged in barrels that previously held Early Times bourbon for 16 months before being aged for 12 months in Tawny Port barrels.

An email sent to the brewery for additional information was not immediately returned.
