This week, Oskar Blues Brewery will be releasing a beer inspired by a previous collaboration with Japan-based Yo-Ho Brewing Co.

As with the previous version that debuted last year, Fugli IPA is a 5.8 percent ABV IPA infused with rangpur, yuzu and ugli fruits along with Mosaic hops. Rangpur is a hybrid between a mandarin orange and a citron from Bangladesh, yuzu is a citrus fruit with a profile similar to grapefruit found in Japan while ugli is the Jamaican version of a tangelo.

According to a post on Oskar Blues’ website, this year’s incarnation of Fugli IPA will be packaged in six-packs of 12-ounce cans and is scheduled to be released in all four of the brewery’s taprooms on April 13, with cans shipping nationwide through August immediately after.
