Prairie Artisan Ales’ most anticipated beer is returning next month.
As with the previous version that debuted as a brewery-only exclusive in September 2016, Pirate Paradise 2018 is a 13 percent ABV imperial stout brewed with toasted coconut and vanilla that has been aged in rum barrels.
In addition, Prairie released a variant of the same beer in November of last year named Bourbon Paradise that was aged in bourbon barrels, although that version was shipped across the brewery’s distribution network.
According to a post on the brewery’s Facebook page, Pirate Paradise 2018 will be packaged in 12-ounce bottles and will have a six-bottle per person purchase limit when it is released at Prairie’s Oklahoma City facility on Feb. 24.
