According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Prairie Artisan Ales is working on releasing Lemon Slice, a 5.2 percent ABV sour ale brewed with lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla that will be packaged in 12-ounce cans.
Prairie has released a similar beer using the same ingredients under the name of Slice as a draft-only option in the past, but that ale came in at a slightly lower 4.8 percent ABV.
An email sent to the brewery for additional information was not immediately returned. In addition, while the beer label attached to this story is the label that was approved by TTB, Prairie has frequently changed the final designs of labels before the beers are released to the market.
