Woodfour Brewing Co. is brewing a collaboration beer with Jester King Brewery today.

While the beer does not have a name yet, it will be a “low/medium gravity” farmhouse ale brewed at Sebastopol, Calif.-based Woodfour that incorporates Texas ingredients, including ruby red grapefruits, wheat malt from Blackland Malt Co. and a combination of yeast from both breweries.

Brewers from Austin, Texas-based Jester King are in California to attend Woodfour’s A Night of Funk event tonight, which will feature beers from both breweries, food pairings and live music.

While the resulting collaboration beer will not be poured at the event,  Woodfour spokesman Nelson Rudolph told Tenemu in an email that attendees will be the first to be able to put their names on the allocation list for when bottles become available.
