Just one day after brewing a collaboration with de Garde Brewing and Sante Adairius Rustic Ales, Jester King Brewery was at it again.
“Our spontaneous culture was pitched, along with native yeast from Wolves & People Farmhouse Brewery, into wort brewed with Oregon douglas fir and Texas ruby red grapefruit,” reads a post on Jester King’s Facebook page.

This is actually the second collaboration beer that Jester King has brewed in the past week that incorporates Texas ruby red grapefruit, after the Austin, Texas-based brewery collaborated with Woodfour Brewing Co. in Sebastopol, Calif. on Jan. 29. That beer is a “low/medium gravity” farmhouse ale included ruby red grapefruits, wheat malt from Blackland Malt Co. and a combination of yeast from both breweries.
An email sent to both breweries for additional information was not returned.
