A fan favorite from Wicked Weed Brewing is being brewed with two tons of fruit.

According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), the Asheville, N.C.-based brewery will once again be releasing Red Angel, a 7 percent ABV sour ale aged in puncheons with one pound per gallon of raspberries for nine months. An additional three pounds per gallon of raspberries is added to the beer in stainless steel tanks, where it conditioned for two more months before being bottled.

The sour ale debuted in 2015 and has been an annual release since that time. The newest incarnation will be packaged in 500ml bottles.

An email sent to the brewery for further information was not immediately returned.
