Wicked Weed’s Old Fashioned Barrel-Aged Ale, a 10 percent ABV ale inspired by the classic bourbon cocktail, is back.

This ale, aged with black cherries and orange zest uses warrior and Willamette hops is the first beer in a line of beers that is inspired by cocktails.

It’s part of a new series of cocktail-inspired beers from Wicked Weed and was conceived by Walt Dickinson, Wicked Weed’s co-founder, while at a bar drinking an actual old fashioned. He asked himself why can’t this be a beer? The brewery says it has at least three more cocktail-inspired beers from the brewery.

It is packaged in 12-ounce bottles.
