Wicked Weed Brewing has released Kiwi Morte, a 6.1 percent ABV sour ale fermented with four-pounds-per-gallon of kiwis for one month.
According to Alanna Nappi, spokesperson for Wicked Weed, the beer is a blend of several different beers that is then aged in neutral white wine barrels for 10-24 months and was previously released by the Asheville, N.C.-based brewery as a draft-only option in 2014.
According to a post on Wicked Weed’s Instagram page, Kiwi Morte is packaged in 500ml bottles and was released at the Funkatorium yesterday.
