Weyerbacher Brewing Co. is retiring the only double IPA in its year-round lineup.

According to a tweet on the Easton, Pa.-based brewery’s Twitter page, Double Simcoe, a 9 percent ABV double IPA that is brewed with Simcoe hops, is being retired.

So long SImcoe…Double SImcoe is retiring & the pension is going to kick in & he said something about the islands. Grab it where you can!

The double IPA was first released in 2006 and is currently available packaged in four-packs of 12-ounce bottles.
