A new seasonal from Weyerbacher Brewing Co. may taste a bit familiar to fans.

The new beer is named Easton Brown & Down, a 5.6 percent ABV brown ale brewed with “deep-roasted chocolate malt.” According to marketing materials from the Easton, Pa.-based brewery, the new beer is a “tweaked” version of its Winter Ale, a 5.6 percent ABV ale that is brewed with juggles and Simcoe hops and was first released in 2001.

According to the marketing materials, Easton Brown & Down will be packaged in 12-ounce bottles and is scheduled to be released in October. An email sent to the brewery for additional information was not immediately returned.
