According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Westbrook Brewing Co. will be releasing Blueberry Weisse Weisse Baby, a 4 percent ABV German-style berliner weisse that has been infused with blueberries. The new beer uses the Mt. Pleasant, S.C.-based brewery’s Weisse Weisse Baby (4 percent ABV) as a base, which was originally released in 2013.
“Stop! Commence the sipping’”, reads the label. “Westbrook’s back with a brand new invention with this fruit-infused version of the old-school German style. It’ll take you back to the ‘90s- the 1590’s that is!”
This will be the forth incarnation of Weisse Weisse Baby:
- Westbrook Weisse Weisse Baby (4 percent ABV)
- Westbrook Lemon Coconut Weisse Weisse Baby (4 percent ABV)
- Westbrook Whiskey Sour Ale Weisse Weisse Baby (4.5 percent ABV)
- Westbrook Blueberry Weisse Weisse Baby (4 percent ABV)
As with the other three bottles using the Weisse Weisse Baby moniker, Blueberry Weisse Weisse Baby will be packaged in 750ml bottles. An email sent to the brewery for additional details was not immediately returned.
