Westbrook Brewing Co. has a new release hitting distribution this week.

The Mt. Pleasant, S.C.-based brewery is releasing Bearded Break-In, a 6.6 percent ABV “gose-style ale” brewed with coriander, sea salt and sorachi ace hops. The beer is a collaboration between Westbrook and its “good friends (and original homebrewing partners) Bobby & Shelly!”

“Some bearded guy broke into the brewery Memorial Day weekend and brewed a Gose with more grain and a bunch of Sorachi Ace hops,” reads the beer label. “It turned out to be way better than anything we’ve ever brewed. We should grow beards.”

According to the label posted on Westbrook’s Facebook page, Bearded Break-In will be packaged in 22-ounce bottles and will be available exclusively in South Carolina “this week.”
