Westbrook Brewing Co. has released bottles of Scotch Barrel Aged Siberian Black Magic Panther, a 12 percent ABV imperial stout brewed with roasted malts and dark candi syrup before being aged in Laphroaig scotch casks for approximately 12 months. The beer uses the Mt. Pleasant, S.C.-based brewery’s Siberian Black Magic Panther as its base.

This is the fifth incarnation of Siberian Black Magic Panther to be bottled:

  • Siberian Black Magic Panther (12 percent ABV)
  • Apple Brandy Barrel-Aged Siberian Black Magic Panther (12 percent ABV)
  • Bourbon Barrel-Aged Siberian Black Magic Panther (12 percent ABV)
  • Rum Barrel-Aged Siberian Black Magic Panther (12 percent ABV)
  • Scotch Barrel-Aged Siberian Black Magic Panther (12 percent ABV)

According to a post on Westbrook’s Instagram page, Rum Barrel Aged Siberian Black Magic Panther is packaged in 22-ounce bottles ($15) and was released at the brewery tasting room last week.
