Westbrook Brewing Co. has made some modifications to its canning line enabling it to fill 16-ounce cans, and the brewery is celebrating by releasing a brand new beer.

Passionfruit Tart IPA is a 6.8 percent ABV IPA brewed with oats and lactose before being conditioned on passionfruit puree and double dry-hopped with Galaxy hops. While the Mount Pleasant, S.C.-based brewery has sold 12-ounce cans for years, this is the first release packaged in 16-ounce cans.

According to a post on Westbrook’s Facebook page, Passionfruit Tart IPA is available at the brewery now and will be distributed exclusivly to retailers in the state of South Carolina.
