Westbrook Brewing Co. has announced its 2017 Release Calendar, and fans of larger cans will be very happy.

First up is Two Claw Rye IPA, which will be added to the Mt. Pleasant, S.C.-based brewery’s year-round lineup packaged in four-packs of 12-ounce cans. The 7 percent ABV IPA is brewed with Azacca, Galaxy and Mosaic hops and was first released as a draft-only option late last year.

Two Claw will join four other beers in the brewery’s year-round lineup:

  • White Thai IPA — Six-packs of 12-ounce cans
  • Westbrook IPA — Six-packs of 12-ounce cans
  • One Claw Rye IPA — Six-packs of 12-ounce cans
  • Gose — Six-packs of 12-ounce cans
  • Two Claw Rye IPA — Four-packs of 12-ounce cans

Next up is Westbrook’s Seasonal Series, which will include three different beers: Key Lime Pie Gose, a a 4 percent ABV gose brewed with salt and coriander and infused with “the delicious flavors of key lime pie” that was released last year and will be shipping from June through August; Festbrook, a 6 percent ABV “fest style golden lager” brewed with German pilsner malt and Czech saag hops that was a previous draft-only release that will be available from September through October; and an as-yet unnamed third option that will be available from November through December. In addition, both Festbrook and the unnamed seasonal release will be packaged in four-packs of 16-ounce cans for the first time in the brewery’s history.

Finally, Westbrook will be releasing three different Special Release beers, all of which will see full distribution across the brewery’s retailer network and all packaged in 22-ounce bottles: Siberian Black Magic Panther, a 12 percent ABV imperial stout aged in bourbon barrels that will see distribution this month; Mexican Cake, a 10.5 percent ABV imperial stout aged on cocoa nibs, vanilla beans, cinnamon sticks and fresh habanero peppers that was first released in 2012 and will ship to retailers in May; and 7th Anniversary, a beer that not much is known about yet that will be released in December.
