The last bottled releases of the year from Weldwerks Brewing Co. are being sold online tomorrow morning, and both beers happen to be variants of the brewery’s most popular stout.

The first release is 19 Month Medianoche, a 14.8 percent ABV imperial stout brewed with “copious amounts” of chocolate malts, crystal malts, and flaked oats before being boiled continuously for nearly 36 hours. After fermentation, the stout was then aged in freshly emptied nine-year bourbon barrels for over 19 months.

In addition, Weldwerks will be selling bottles of Flambé Medianoche, a 13.2 percent ABV imperial stout that was aged in Jamaican rum barrels for “nearly” 17 months. The stout was then conditioned on “ripe bananas brûléed with raw cane sugar” as well as cinnamon and Madagascar vanilla beans.

According to Weldwerks, both 19 Month Medianoche and Flambé Medianoche will be packaged in 22-ounce bottles priced at $26 and $22 each respectively when they go on sale via Eventbrite on Nov. 16 at 10 am MDT.  In addition, 19 Month Medianoche will have a three bottle per person purchase limit while Flambé Medianoche will have a two bottle per person purchase limit. Customers will be able to pick up their bottles at the brewery between Nov. 27 and Dec. 8 during normal business hours and no proxies will be allowed.
