On Sunday, Weldwerks Brewing Co. will be selling tickets for two incarnations of its popular Medianoche imperial stout packaged in bottles for the first time.

The first version is Medianoche, a 13.8 percent ABV imperial stout aged in freshly-emptied barrels that previously held Breckenridge bourbon for 17 months. While multiple incarnations of Medianoche have been packaged by the Greeley, Colo.-based brewery, this is the first time the stout has been bottled.

In addition, Weldwerks will be releasing Medianoche Reserve, a 14.2 percent ABV imperial stout that is a blend of two different batches: one aged in freshly-emptied barrels that previously held Breckenridge bourbon for 17 months and another batch that was aged in barrels that previously held Woodford Reserve Rye Whiskey barrels. The blend was then conditioned on approximately 25 pounds of freshly toasted coconut per barrel as well as 1 1/2 pounds per barrel of Madagascar vanilla beans and two pounds per barrel of cacao nibs sourced from TCHO Chocolate.

Tickets to the release will cost $92 before taxes and fees and will include:

  • Two 22-Ounce Bottles of Medianoche
  • One 22-Ounce Bottle of Medianoche Reserve
  • One Custom Bottle Carrier

According to Weldwerks, tickets will go on sale via Eventbrite on Sept. 24, and there will be a limit of one ticket per customer, with no proxies allowed. Customers will be able to pick up their bottles at the brewery between Oct. 4 and Oct. 8 during normal business hours.
