A new bottled release from Weldwerks Brewing Co. would be right at home next to a campfire.
S’mores Achromatic is a 10.6 percent ABV imperial stout brewed with graham crackers, milk chocolate bars and toasted marshmallows. Although the stout was first sold as a draft-only option in early 2017, this is the first time it has been bottled.
The imperial stout is the latest of the Greeley, Colo.-based brewery’s Achromatic variants to be bottled, with past releases including Coffee Maple Achromatic, Mexican Achromatic and Peanut Butter Cup Achromatic.
According to a post on Weldwerks Facebook page, S’mores Achromatic will be packaged in 22-ounce bottles ($15) and will have a purchase limit of three bottles per person when it goes on sale at the brewery today. In addition, Weldwerks will be releasing four-packs of 16-ounce cans of Keller Pils ($10) and four-packs of 16-ounce cans of 85 in a 55 double IPA ($16), a collaboration with Destihl Brewery.
