Starting tomorrow, Weldwerks Brewing Co. will be selling tickets for two new variants of its popular Medianoche imperial stout in celebration of the Craft Brewers Conference being in Colorado for the first time since 2014.
The first version is Rye Vanilla Medianoche, a blend of Medianoche stout aged in several freshly emptied 10-year American oak rye whiskey barrels before aging for three more months on Madagascar and Ugandan vanilla beans. The new incarnation of the imperial stout is packaged in 22-ounce bottles priced at $32 each.
The second version WeldWerks will be releasing is Rye Medianoche, an imperial stout aged for 17 months in freshly-emptied Pikesville 6-year straight rye whiskey barrels with no adjuncts added that is priced at $26 for each 22-ounce bottle.
Tickets will be available for free on Eventbrite starting on March 30, with each ticket allowing the attendee to purchase one bottle of either beer, and there will be a strict limit of two tickets for Rye Medianoche and two tickets for Rye Vanilla Medianoche per person. In addition, there will be no proxies allowed and customers will be able to pick up their bottles at the brewery between April 5 and April 21.
