A new release from Victory Brewing Co. will pay tribute to a classic German style.
Named Kühl Kölsch, the new Kölsch-style beer comes in at 4.8 percent ABV and uses hops and malts from Germany, where the beer style originated from. According to filings with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), the new release from the Downingtown, Pa.-based brewery will come packaged in 12-ounce bottles.
“Enliven your senses with this crisp and delicate brew that traces its stylistic roots back to Köln, Germany,” reads the bottle label. “Premium Malts and hops from its historic home give it just the right balance of sweet and sharp flavors, in measures perfect to sooth your sizzling summer fun.”
