For the first time since it was founded in 1996, Victory Brewing Co. has introduced a new brand that is available exclusively in cans.
The new year-round release is Vital IPA, a 6.5 percent ABV IPA that is brewed with German malts as well as whole flower simcoe, citra and chinook hops.
“In our never ended pursuit to create the ultimate beer, we challenged ourselves as brewers to identify the most Vital components and flavors that we think make up the perfect IPA,” says Bill Covaleski, president and brewmaster at Victory, in a press release. “We raised the bar with Vital IPA, which we believe will become a singular, vital addition to beer lovers’ refrigerators.”
According to the press release, Vital IPA is packaged in six-packs of 12-ounce cans ($9.99) and was released last week to all 36 states in the Downingtown, Pa.-based brewery’s distribution network.
