Victory Brewing Co.’s newest release combines a stout and coffee.
The new beer from the Downingtown, Pa.-based brewery is Java Cask, a stout brewed with coffee and aged in bourbon barrels. The new beer is being brewed in collaboration with Philadelphia-based Johnny Brenda’s restaurants and Standard Tap, using their JB’s Coffee.
“Depth, complexity and richness occur when delicious ale ages in a barrel, just as a friendship grows over the years,” reads the beer label. A recent tweet from Victory indicates the beer will be available on Nov. 25.
