A new series of beers from Victory Brewing Co., may included a variant of one of the brewery’s most well-known creations.

Rosé Monkey is a 9.5 percent ABV Belgian-style tripel spiced ale that has been aged for three months in chardonnay oak barrels before they are put into finishing tanks where real cherries are added. The new spiced ale’s base is taken from Victory’s year-round offering Golden Monkey, a beer that was first released in 1997.

According to the label filed with Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau, Rosé Monkey will be packaged in 500ml bottles, and appears to be part of a new series of releases named the Barrel Aged Series 2019.

An email sent to the brewery for more information was not returned.
