Next month, Victory Brewing Co. will be celebrating its 21st anniversary with a new release.
The new beer is named Jubilee, a 12 percent ABV “biere de champagne” brewed with champagne yeast and German blanc hops. The Downingtown, Pa.-based brewery was founded by childhood friends Bill Covaleski and Ron Barchet, and officially opened its doors in February 1996.
Earlier this year, Victory commemorated its 20th anniversary in the same way, releasing Anniversary XX Imperial Pilsner, an 8.5 percent ABV imperial pilsner brewed with German barley malts as well as Hallertauer Mittelfrüh, Spalt and tettnang hops. That beer was packaged in 750ml bottles ($9.99) and was released in February.
According to a press release from Victory, Jubilee will be packaged in 750ml bottles($9.99) and will be shipped to retailers across the brewery’s entire 35-state distribution network starting in January 2017.
