Victory Brewing Company is set to release the second beer in its Moving Parts series, Moving Parts 02. Codenamed MP02, the IPA exclusively uses English hops and yeasts and comes in at 7.1 percent ABV.

“We like to mix it up. New flavors, new ideas, new ingredients; we welcome them all,” said Bill Covaleski, Victory’s president and brewmaster, in a press release. “In celebration of our penchant for prolific experimentation, we present Moving Parts: The Ever-Evolving IPA. Each release in this series celebrates a tweaked ingredient or two, creating an endless array of possible flavor profiles.”

The Moving Parts series gets its name from the fact that every release features the same basic IPA recipe, but each beer has slightly different ingredients and varying the levels of malts, yeasts or hop varieties. The first beer in the series, Moving Parts 01, was released in June. It featured American, English and Czech hop varieties as well as German malts.

Moving Parts 02 will be sold in 22-ounce bottles ($4.99) and on draft starting in mid-October across Victory’s 35-state distribution network.
