One of The Veil Brewing Co.’s most popular releases now has another variant.
The new beer is French Vanilla Hornswoggler, a 7% chocolate milk stout conditioned on a “proprietary coffee blend”, vanilla beans, and “a touch” of hazelnut. This is the forth version of Hornswoggler that the Richmond, Va.-based brewery has released, following Hornswoggler (7 percent ABV), Coconut Hornswoggler (7 percent ABV) and Oreo and Reginald’s Homemade Bourbon Pecan Peanut Butter Hornswoggler (7 percent ABV.)
“The goal for French Vanilla Horns was to be a harmonious blend of all of the adjuncts,” reads a post on The Veil’s Facebook page. “It was not the intent for it to be a coffee, Vanilla, or hazelnut bomb.”
According to a post on Veil Brewing’s Facebook page, French Vanilla Hornswoggler will be packaged in four-packs of 16-ounce cans ($18) and is scheduled to be released May 23 with a limit of three four-packs per person and approximately 190-210 cases available.
