The Veil Brewing Co. is rereleasing an old favorite as well as two new beers on Tuesday.
The first beer is Dirt Nap, an 8.8 percent ABV double IPA hopped “intensly” with Citra, Galaxy, Mosaic and nelson hops, but for this version, the Richmond, Va.-based brewery has increased the amount of nelson hops in the mix. “This resulted in a touch less earthy/dank characteristic and a brighter, more tropical aroma,” according to a post on the brewery’s Facebook page.

In addition, Veil Brewing will also be debuting Crucial Aunt, an 8.2 percent ABV double IPA brewed with Citra hops as well as “a ton” of natural mango purée and nectar. “We used over 100lbs of mango purée for a 15BBL batch,” said the brewery in a Facebook post. “We also increased the Citra on the dry-hop addition to enhance the citrus/fruity aromatic component.”

The final new beer to debut will be Master Master Shredder Shredder, a 5.5 percent ABV double-dry hopped version of the brewery’s Master Shredder (5.5 percent ABV.)

According to the brewery, both the new incarnation of Dirt Nap, Master Master Shredder Shredder and Crucial Aunt will all be packaged in 16-ounce cans when the go on sale on June 14, with prices and purchase limits to be announced in the future.
