A new IPA coming in May from Upslope Brewing Co. will get its pink color due to being brewed with beet juice.

According a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Sparkling Rosé IPA is a 7.1 percent ABV brut-style India pale ale brewed colored with beet juice that will be packaged in four-packs of 12-ounce cans.

The new IPA will be part of Upslope’s Limited Release Series, which also includes two other beers: a blackberry lemon sour and a pumpkin ale.

An email sent to the brewery for pricing and distribution information was not immediately returned.
