Upslope Brewing Co. is adding another beer to its Tap Room Series.

According to Tiffany Lutke, events coordinator at Upslope, Oktoberfest Lager is a 5.1 percent ABV lager that is brewed with light Munich malts as well as magnum and hallertau mittelfruh hops. The beer was first available as a draft-only option and will be a seasonal release.

Oktoberfest Lager is the second release in Upslope’s  “Tap Room Series”, which consist of tap room exclusive beers that are packaged for the masses. The first beer in the series, Citra Pale Ale, was released in July and is a 5.9percent ABV IPA brewed with citra hops.

Oktoberfest Lager will be released in 19.2-ounce cans during “the world’s first Backcountry Tap Room located at the end of the High Lonesome trail just outside Winter Park” on Sept. 19.
