According a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Upslope Brewing Co. is working on releasing Oktoberfest, a 5.5 percent ABV Festbier -style lager brewed with “snowmelt”, pilsner floor malt sourced from Leopold Bros. and hallertau mittelfruh hops that will be packaged in four-packs of 12-ounce cans.

Oktoberfest will be part of Upslope’s Limited Release Series, which includes different beers in different styles that are released on seasonal basis throughout the year.

The Boulder-based brewery released a beer with a similar name in 2015, but that version came in at a slightly lower 5.1 percent ABV and was part of the brewery’s Tap Room Series.

An email sent to the brewery for pricing and distribution information was not immediately returned.
