The 21st installment in Upslope Brewing Co.’s Lee Hill Series will be Foeder-Aged Apricot Sour, which as its name implies, is a 5.6 percent ABV mixed-culture golden sour ale aged in foeders and refermented on 1,200 pounds of apricots for eight weeks before being canned.

The new ale is the newest addition to the Boulder, Colo.-based brewery’s series, which debuted in July 2014 and commemorates the original brewery location at Lee Hill in Boulder which is now used to produce small batch releases.

According to a post on Upslope’s website, 19.2 ounce cans ($12) of Lee Hill Series: Vol 21: Foeder-Aged Apricot Sour will be released at an event on Sept. 12 at the Lee Hill tap room in Boulder, Colo. with purchase limit of six cans per person.
