According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Bloomington, IN-based Upland Brewing company is getting ready to release a brand-new version of a previously draft-only beer.
The new beer in question, Bourbon Barrel-Aged Bad Elmer, is a 9 percent ABV brewed with shaved coconut. The beer spent six months aging in Kentucky Bourgon barrels. This beer is being released as part of the Brewer’s Reserve series and was bottled last month.
An email sent to the brewery seeking more information was not immediately returned.
