Asheville NC-based UpCountry Brewing Company has been working on making one of its popular, limited beers a permanent staple as the brand-new year kicks into full view.
According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Dill Pickle Gose will become a year-round staple of the brewery’s Simple Sour Series, joining Black Currant Gose as well as Mango Gose, amongst others. Clocking in at 4.8 percent ABV, this German-style Gose is brewed with cucumbers, salt, dill and pickling spices and will become available in late February, early March. It was originally released in June of 2017 on a limited basis but has quickly risen to being one of the most requested beers that UpCountry has to offer.
Dill Pickle Gose is set to become available on draft and in six-packs of 12-ounce cans for sale across the brewery’s distribution footprint in Western South Carolina, and upstate North Carolina. The suggested retail price for the cans is $10.99.
