Tyranena Brewing Co.’s newest beer was inspired by a local Irish rock band.

According to filings with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), the beer is named The Kissers’ Monday Night Special, an oatmeal double stout that has been aged in bourbon barrels. The stout will join the Lake Mills, Wis.-based brewery’s Brewer’s Gone Wild! Series, which is made up of “big, bold, ballsy beers.”

“Inspired by the foot-stomping, fist-shaking music of The Kissers,” reads the beer label. “Best enjoyed together.”

This is not the first time a beer with this name has been released. In 2014, Tyranena released a draft-only beer with the name The Kissers’ Monday Night Special, but it was an imperial black IPA the came in at 8.5 percent ABV. In addition, in March 2015, the brewery released a draft-only beer with the same name that is also an oatmeal double stout coming in at 8.5 percent ABV, but there is no mention of it being aged in bourbon barrels.

The Kissers’ Monday Night Special will be packaged in 12-ounce bottles. An email sent to the brewery asking for details on a release date, information on the bourbon barrels used and distribution plans was not immediately returned.
