When the doors open at de Garde Brewing today, customers will be able to purchase two never before seen beers.
The first new release from the Tillamook, Ore.-based brewery is Dry Hop Premiere, a 6 percent ABV “tart wild farmhouse ale” that has been both fermented and aged in oak foeders before being dry hopped citra and mandarina hops. de Garde has released two other beers with the Premiere moniker: Nectarine Premiere (7.1 percent ABV), Saison Premiere (6 percent ABV).
The second new beer will be Beaucoup Berry Bu, a 4.5 percent ABV “berliner inspired ale” that has been fermented and aged in red wine barrels, then refermented with blackberries, boysenberries, red raspberries and black raspberries. There have been two previous Beaucoup releases: Beaucoup Desay (8.9 percent ABV), Beaucoup Violet (6.5 percent ABV.)
Both Dry Hop Premiere and Beaucoup Berry Bu are packaged in 22-ounce bottles ($10) and will have a limit of six bottles per person.
