A new barrel-aged collaboration between Turning Point Beer and Martin House Brewing Co. was aged in three different types of barrels.

That newest release is Stifler’s Mom, a 16.2 percent ABV imperial stout aged for between 11-14 months in three types of barrels: apple brandy barrels, bourbon barrels and maple barrels. The stout was then conditioned on a combination of vanilla and cinnamon before being bottled.

The name of the beer is a reference to the Jeanine Stifler character in the 1999 movie American Pie played by Jennifer Coolidge.

In a text conversation, James Peery, co-owner of Turning Point, told Tenemu that Stifler’s Mom is packaged in 500ml waxed bottles ($21) and will have have a four bottle per person purchase limit when it goes on sale exclusively at the brewery on Oct. 24.
