When it opens its doors tomorrow, Turning Point Beer will be releasing Glacial Frost Quencher, a 6.5 percent ABV “electrolyte-infused” sour ale brewed with blue raspberry sports drink powder.

This will be the third beer sold under the “Quencher” moniker, after the Bedford, Texas-based brewery released Lemon-Lime Quencher, a 6.5 percent ABV berliner weisse-syle ale brewed with “an obscene amount” of sports drink powder in October and Quencher, a 4.5 percent ABV “fruit punch inspired” gose-style sour ale brewed with salt and fruit punch sport drink powder in June.

According to a post on Turning Point’s Facebook page, Lemon-Lime Quencher is packaged in four-packs of 16-ounce cans ($13) that will go on sale at the brewery on Dec. 11.
