A recent collaboration between Turning Point Beer and 3 Nations Brewing Co. resulted in not one, not two, but five different variants that are going on sale today.

That beer is Bedford County Barrel-Aged Stout, a 16.2 percent ABV imperial stout that has been aged in “Premier Kentucky Bourbon barrels” for 13 months before being packaged in 500ml bottles.

Along with the base stout, there will be four different versions available for sale, all of which have been conditioned on different adjuncts:

  • Bedford County Barrel-Aged Stout — $17 per 500ml bottle —No purchase limit
  • Bedford County Barrel-Aged Cookies & Cream Stout — $19 per 500ml bottle —Two bottle purchase limit
  • Bedford County Barrel-Aged Macadamia Nuts and Coconut Stout — $19 per 500ml bottle —Two bottle purchase limit
  • Bedford County Barrel-Aged Coffee Stout — $19 per 500ml bottle —Two bottle purchase limit
  • Bedford County Barrel-Aged Double Vanilla Stout — $22 per 500ml bottle —Two bottle purchase limit

According to a post on Turning Point’s Facebook page, quantities of the four variants are “extremely limited” and there are no proxies allowed when the bottles go on sale exclusively at the Bedford, Texas-based brewery today.
