A new collaboration between Trillium Brewing Co. and Monkish Brewing Co. goes on sale today.
Never & Again is an 8.5 percent ABV double IPA brewed with Amarillo, Columbus, Citra and Simcoe hops before being conditioned on mangos. The new double IPA was brewed on Aug. 30 at Boston-based Trillium.
The name of the beer is in reference to the fact that although Trillium has resisted producing fruited IPAs in the past, this is the second time the brewery has released one after Dialed In, an 8.5 percent ABV double IPA brewed with sauvignon blanc grape juice was produced earlier this year.
According to Trillium, Never & Again is packaged in four-packs of 16-ounce cans ($22.50) and will have a two four-pack per person limit when it goes on sale today. Only 650 cases will be released split between the brewery’s Canton and Fort Point locations, with “a little more at Canton (which reflects historical demand.)”
