A new IPA from Trillium Brewing Co. pays tribute to “beloved Boston busker Keytar Bear.”

The appropriately named Keytar Bear is an 8.8 percent ABV double IPA brewed with Citra and Galaxy hops, as well as local wildflower honey and lactose before being conditioned on vanilla beans.

“Known to many Bostonians for his welcoming perma-smile and funky 80’s Prince covers, a Keytar Bear sighting is a surefire way to brighten the day, or at the very least your commute on the T!” reads a post on Trillium’s website.

According to Trillium, Keytar Bear is packaged in four-packs of 16-ounce cans ($22.20) and will have a one case per person limit when it goes on sale today at both of the brewery’s Canton and Fort Point locations.
