An extremely popular collaboration between Trillium Brewing Co. and J. Wakefield Brewing is getting an extremely limited variant released today.

Barrel-Aged Affogato is a 14.9 percent ABV imperial stout brewed with lactose, vanilla beans and a blend of coffees from both Barrington Coffee Roasting Co. and Mostra Coffee before being aged in bourbon barrels for six months. As the name implies, the base beer is Affogato, a 13.3 percent ABV imperial stout created by the two breweries that was released at Trillium in July 2017.

According to a post on Trillium’s Instagram page, Barrel-Aged Affogato is packaged in 22-ounce bottles ($24.05) and will have a one bottle per person limit with 50 cases available at each of Trillium’s two locations when it is released today.
