While the release of Morning Delight 2018 is almost two months away, tickets will go on sale in less than two weeks.
According to a post on Toppling Goliath Brewing Co.’s Twitter page, the release for Morning Delight 2018 is set for Aug. 25. This year’s package will will be priced at $100 and will include a two-pack of 22-ounce bottles, one branded glass and one pour of the stout. In addition, purchasers will be able to buy a “guest ticket” to the release event that will allow each guest to also purchase a $100 package of their own, although the name of each guest must be provided at the time of the original purchase of the tickets and will not be able to be changed for any reason.
While a tweet on Toppling Goliath’s Twitter feed originally stated that the tickets would be distributed via online lottery, the brewery now states that tickets will be sold online on July 10 at 11 a.m. CST.

The 12 percent ABV imperial stout brewed with coffee and maple syrup was first released as a draft-only option in 2011 and was packaged in 12-ounce bottles in 2013, while the 2015 and 2016 incarnations were sold in 22-ounce bottles.
Last year’s version was released on Aug. 19, 2017 packaged in a set priced at $100 that included one four-pack of waxed 12-ounce bottles, two glasses and one pour of the stout with only 2,000 sets available.
