A new collaboration between Toppling Goliath Brewing Co. and Barrel Theory Beer Co. is meant to be a “collective interpretation and reimagine of a west coast IPA.”

The two breweries have joined forces to create Dolphin Sparkles, a double IPA brewed with “soft, subtle and clean” malts as well as some of both brewery’s “favorite hops.” The new beer was brewed at Toppling Goliath’s facility in Deborah, Iowa on April 19.

According to a post on Toppling Goliath’s Facebook page, Dolphin Sparkles will be packaged in 22-ounce bottles that will be released during an event at Toppling Goliath on May 10 before being distributed exclusively in both brewery’s homes states of Iowa and Minnesota.
