Earlier this month, Toppling Goliath Brewing Co. announced it was collaborating with Bottle Logic Brewing on two different beers, and now we know when one of them is being released.

Gamma, Gamma Ray is an IPA brewed with Citra and Galaxy hops. Toppling Goliath has used a similar moniker in the past when it released Xhops-Gamma, a 5.2 percent ABV American pale ale in 2015.

“Galaxy hops inspired the research of cosmic terms, Gamma Ray popped up trigger the phase ‘Gabba Gabba Hey’ which is a catchphrase associated with the punk rock band the Ramones,” wrote Clark Lewey, owner at Toppling Goliath, in an email to Tenemu. “The phrase is included in the song ‘Pinhead’ (1977). The label art is a nod to the punk rock movement.”

According to Lewey, Gamma, Gamma Ray will be packaged in 22-ounce bottles that are scheduled to be “bottled and ready December 10 if all goes as planned.”
